Oily skin is one off the best and worst skin type to have. You're probably going to look younger than you would if your skin weren't oily. The amount of oil, or sebum, your glands secrete forms an incredibly effective barrier against moisture evaporation. Moisture is what keeps the skin soft and supple. So, with many women, its simply a matter of not letting the excess oil accumulate on the skin's surface - for appearance as much as anything.
If you have oily skin, it may be acne-prone. But its wrong to assume that oily skin is synonymous with blemishes. Now for some more good news. oily skin is rarely oily forever. As we mature, our hormone level change, which usually leads to a slow-down in sebum production. You should also prepared to make routine.

Simple TIPS on your daily routine:
1. Your A.M. routine
* using your fingertips and a circular motion, work your cleanser or cleansing bar into a lather with lukewarm water. Splash to remove suds, and gently wipe off the excess with a warm, wet washcloth. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
* Saturate a fresh cotton ball or pad with freshener or toner, and apply it to your face and throat. Repeat the process until there's no trace of dirt on the cotton. Let your skin dry naturally.
* Gently smooth your oil control lotion over your face and throat with your finger tips. This type of product tend to dry rapidly. So, for the best results, apply it to one area of your face at a time and work quickly. Let the lotion dry completely before applying foundation.
* Apply oily-free foundation using your fingertips or a sponge.
2. Your P.M. routine
* Cleanse your face.
* Two times a week, apply a mask to your fingertips and gently massage it over your face. Avoid eye area and around your mouth. leave the mask on for 10minutes, or use as a scrub. then gently remove with a damp wash clothe. rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
* apply freshener.
* Apply oil control lotion.
If your skin is very oily, there are several things you can do to improve its appearance. For the best results, incorporate these changes into your routine gradually.
cleanse, freshen and moisture balance your facial skin three times a day instead of twice, in the morning, in the late afternoon, or early evening, and then again before going to bed. It won’t change your sebum production, but it will improve your appearance.
Set up your mask treatment to three times a week to help absorb excess oil.
Apply two layers of oil control lotion in the morning instead of one to help prevent oily breakthrough and increase your foundation’s “staying power”. Allow the first coat to dry, then carefully pat on the second coat to avoid disturbing at first layer. Let this coat also dry completely before applying your oil-free foundation.
Apply loose face powder over your foundation.
Use linen blotting papers throughout the day to blot up excess oil and help keep makeup looking fresh.
Keep your hair off your face. A style without bangs will help prevent the sebum from your scalp from transferring back to your face.
